YOUR SPIRITUALITY
MENTOR COUNSELING LIFE SKILLS VOLUNTEER

There comes a time in a person’s life when it seems like nothing is working out. There’s this feeling of emptiness. Just about the time when your life seems to be going well, you have a great career, your relationships are working out, your finances are in order, yet there’s this feeling that something is missing. There’s nothing visibly wrong with you and yet a voice begins to make itself heard that says, "Is this all there is?" You find yourself constantly thinking "there must be more to life than this!" The fact is at one point of our lives, we often hunger for the following:

1. Meaning - You begin exploring why you’re doing what you’re doing. You ask yourself "How do I fit in the grand scheme of things? Who am I? Why am I here?"

2. Intimacy - You begin to seek deeper relationship with people only to find out that’s not as fulfilling. Something is still missing. Many turn to illicit sex in search of fulfillment.

3. Purpose - You begin to wonder if your contributions to this life matter. Am I achieving my fullest potential.
