Helping individuals discover their true potential and controlling their destiny is the core of Dominique’s coaching and counseling practice. She believes she has found a proven technique of helping individuals live a more balance life. Dominique was quoted as saying, “when you consider the limitless influence of healthy men and women on our communities, families, churches and workplace, it is imperative that we pay close attention to the well being of our most valuable assets- the human being”. Significant achievements include: Serving as CEO and Chairperson of Supporting Others Through Mentoring, Inc. Facilitate support group on various recovery issues. Served on the Board of STAAF Ministries, Inc. as a chairperson of grants and proposal. Representative for the Haitian Coalition Refugees of New York. An activist for the liberation of “The Haitian Boat People”. Volunteered phone Counselor for Contact Crisis Center. Volunteered with the North Texas Refugee Center as a French/English interpreter, Volunteered with Promise House. Other Achievements: SOTM, Inc. “Woman of the Year” award for Community Services. Dallas Metropolitan Club, “Women in the Workplace” award for service and dedication to the community. YWCA, “Women of Oak Cliff Achievement” award.
