Meditation is a process of reflecting on one’s life and one’s relationship with the Almighty. Meditation is an active response to life joys, pains, struggles and anxieties. Meditation requires an openness to the non-material world. Exercising the ability to remain peacefully quite in order to get in touch with one’s inner self.

NOTE: You can use a firm straight back chair or any of the two lotus position. The lotus position is the traditional meditation sitting.
Meditation works better when it is included as a normal function of your life.
Commit to a definite time schedule, recommended time 10 to 20 minute twice a day.
Create a clean, comfortable peaceful environment use the same place each day.
Find a comfortable sitting position. There are only two sitting position for meditating, a chair or the lotus style.
Pick a device that is comfortable to you to fix your attention on.
Start with a deep breathing exercise
Inhale slowly through your nose while counting to 3 do the same while exhaling.
Count to 3 and tell yourself to relax
Repeat same routine for 3 minute until all tension is drained from your body.
REMEMBER: Don’t worry so much about how well you are doing. Maintain a passive attitude. Your mind has a tendency to drift and wander, but with practice it will not take you as long to focus.
